a mixed bag of a stay

the location was decent enough..
The self check-in screens weren't cooperating, resulting in a bit of a chaotic free-for-all as everyone tried to check in at once. figuring out which line to join was like a guessing game. I ended up waiting in the wrong one initially. the room itself left much to be desired. It wasn't cleaned well and the floor was pretty grimy. plus, it was cold, thanks to a drafty window vent letting in a constant stream of chilly air.

the location is very central. proximity to transportation is a plus. the reception staff were friendly. i found it easy to meet and socialize with fellow travelers. the conditions for that are very good.
the bed had a weirdly uncomfortable plastic mattress. it was not really breathable. contact to my skin felt nasty since it was hot. the windows are not really new, so i heard any slight noise from the main street.

The staff at reception were very helpful (especially mai). the room was very comfy and tidy for me. i was impressed with the locked bike storage room. It felt secure.
the room design seemed unsuitable for a hostel setup. two beds were next to each other with no space between. i wanted to use lockers downstairs after checkout, but the door wouldn't lock after payment.
